Bai Thom Beach is located on the northeastern coast of Phu Quoc Special Zone, within Bai Thom Commune—an area that still preserves much of the island’s untouched beauty. Stretching along the base of Ong Dien Mountain, the beach runs from the center of Bai Thom Commune all the way to Sac Coc Cape and the nearby Hon Mot Islet, one of the most scenic mangrove and coastal viewpoints in Phu Quoc.
The coastline at Bai Thom is about 2 kilometers long, featuring a narrow sandy beach and shallow waters. Although the sand area is not wide and the sea level remains low, the water is calm, clear, and noticeably more tranquil than beaches on the island’s western side. This makes Bai Thom a wonderfully peaceful escape for visitors seeking quiet scenery and an unhurried pace of life.
Unlike the more developed tourism areas such as Bai Truong or Bai Dai, Bai Thom captivates travelers with its rustic charm—where mountains, forests, and the sea blend seamlessly into one serene landscape. From the beach, you can easily spot Hon Mot, a small island so close to the mainland that visitors can even walk across during low tide to explore its mangrove ecosystem.
