Bai Truong is one of the most beautiful and iconic beaches in Duong To Commune, Phu Quoc Special Zone, An Giang Province. The beach is named “Bai Truong” (“Long Beach”) because its shoreline stretches gently for nearly 20 kilometers, running from Dinh Cau Cape all the way to Khoe Tau Ru. This long strip of coast is divided into many smaller sections, connected by rocky outcrops, lush greenery, and peaceful fishing villages that appear and disappear along the horizon.
The water at Bai Truong shifts in color throughout the day depending on the sunlight and the depth of the sea—sometimes sky-blue, sometimes rosy, sometimes jade-green, and at certain spots even a deep violet hue. Lining the beach are tall casuarina trees and long rows of swaying coconut palms, blending harmoniously with the shimmering tones of seaweed and the natural landscape.
Today, Bai Truong is well-loved for its beauty, its romantic atmosphere, and its peaceful charm. Visitors can immerse themselves in the cool, clear water, stroll along the golden sandy shore, or simply enjoy the breathtaking sunrise and sunset—two of the most magical moments of the day.
The sand here is fine and golden, the sea is calm and crystal clear, and the colors of the water shift from turquoise to pinkish, from jade to deep violet depending on the depth and the light. Along the coastline, rows of casuarina and coconut trees create a refreshing tropical ambiance, making Bai Truong an ideal destination for relaxation, swimming, and photography.
