Hang Câu is located in Đông Hamlet, An Hải Commune, at the foot of Thới Lới Mountain in the Lý Sơn Special Zone (Quảng Ngãi Province). This coastal marvel offers a striking natural landscape, with the vast blue sea on one side and towering volcanic cliffs on the other — a dramatic yet harmonious contrast.
The cave was formed thousands of years ago from volcanic lava. Over millennia, waves, tides, and sea winds relentlessly carved and hollowed the mountain’s base, creating a spacious rock chamber adorned with distinctive natural textures and patterns.
Today, Hang Câu remains breathtakingly pristine, peaceful, and poetic. Its raw beauty makes it an ideal stop for visitors exploring Lý Sơn Island, attracting travelers who seek both tranquility and the awe of untouched nature.
