Lien Hoa Pagoda was first founded by Venerable Thich Tuong Van between 1944 and 1965, during the period when he served as Yet Ma A Xa Le and the chief monastic officiant at Linh Son Pagoda.
In 1995, the pagoda underwent its first major restoration under the guidance of Venerable Thich Thien Phuoc, together with devoted local Buddhists. The renovation was completed in 1998, giving the pagoda a more spacious and dignified appearance.

Nearly nine decades have passed, and through multiple phases of construction and restoration, Lien Hoa Pagoda has become a peaceful spiritual sanctuary that welcomes countless visitors and pilgrims from near and far. Today, it stands as one of the meaningful cultural and religious attractions for travelers exploring Phu Quy Island.
