Long Hai Pier, located in Dong Hai Hamlet, is locally known as Ben Doc Cai. During the southwest wind season, fishing boats from Long Hai Commune return here every early morning, bringing in a wide variety of fresh and affordable seafood. Visitors can buy directly from fishermen without worrying about inflated prices.
From Long Hai Pier, the journey to nearby islets is quick and scenic: about 10 minutes by boat to Hon Den (Black Islet) and 20 minutes to Hon Do (Red Islet). Between them lies Hon Giua, a small rocky formation that rises from the sea. Due to its size and lack of open space, Hon Giua is unsuitable for tourism activities.
At Hon Den and Hon Do, visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing and snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs. However, this route is only accessible during the southwind season, when the sea is calm. During the northeast monsoon, strong winds make it unsafe to travel from Long Hai Pier to these islets.
